How to make a QR code for a menu or flyer that never stops working
Make a print-ready QR code for your menu, flyer or poster that keeps working.
A QR code on a menu, flyer or shop window lets people open your page with their phone camera. The catch with many QR makers is that the code points through their service, so it can stop working if that service changes. Agglestone QR codes hold your link directly, so they never stop working.
Make your QR code
- Open Agglestone QR and type the link you want people to land on, such as your menu page or booking form.
- Enter your email and type in the 6-digit code we send you.
- Download your QR code straight away as a PNG or an SVG file. It's in your dashboard too.
Getting it ready to print
- Use the SVG for printing. It stays sharp at any size, from a table card to a banner.
- Leave a clear border of white space around the code so phones can find it.
- Print it at least 2 cm across, and bigger if people will scan it from a distance.
- Scan your printed proof with a couple of phones before printing the full run.
Want to change the destination later?
Because the code holds your link directly, the code itself can't be changed. If your menu link might change, first make an Agglestone Link short link, then make the QR code from that. Later you can point the short link somewhere new and the printed code follows.
