How to shorten a link (and change where it goes later)
Turn a long web address into a tidy agg.to link you can print, and point it somewhere new later.
Long web addresses are hard to type, ugly on a flyer and easy to get wrong. A short link fixes that: agg.to/abc2345 instead of a line of letters, numbers and question marks.
Shorten a link in three steps
- Open Agglestone Link and paste your long link. It needs to start with http:// or https://.
- Enter your email. We send you a 6-digit code: type it in. There's no sign-up form or password.
- Your short link appears straight away, ready to copy, print or share. It's in your dashboard too.
Change where it goes, without reprinting
Printed the link on 500 flyers and then the page moved? Open your dashboard, change the destination, and the same agg.to link now goes to the new page. Everything you've already printed keeps working.
Tips for short links that work hard
- Use one short link per place you share it (flyer, email, social post), then compare the opens in your dashboard.
- Pair a short link with a QR code so people can type it or scan it.
- Say it out loud: a short link is easy to read out on a call or a radio ad.
